SCM, or supply chain management, is the whole process that a product goes through before it gets to the buyer. It starts with getting the raw materials, then goes through production and packaging, then goes through warehouses and distribution centers, and finally ends with delivery.  SCM is more than just moving things from Point A to Point B.
